Yesterday was our first game of the season and our home opener. We played Ballard and we lost by two, 56-54. We played our butts off but we just couldnt come away with the victory. Everyone was very upset after the game and we really felt we should have won. But credit is due to Ballard. They played a good game and hit their free throws down the scretch. Bryelle WAS fouled on the last play although the refs didnt see it that way. We have to just forget about that game and focus on Manual Thursday. They are a very good team ranked number 4 in the state. But we dont care. We are going to look for the win just like they are. Statisically, I didnt have a great game 2pnts (1-1fg), 4asts, 4rebs, 1stl, but I played killer defense and I hope we can carry the intensity friday. The seniors have to continue to lead the team because we havent even tapped our potential. Thats it for now Holla!

well yesterday we had our second and last scrimmage of the season versus owensboro. We won by 4 and we played pretty good. WE had great intensity considering the fact that as soon as we got off the bus after a 2 hour ride we had 7 minutes until tip-off. They had some pretty big girls and one of them Janae Howard (i think thats her name) signed with UL. She's pretty good but she didnt dominate and I think we did a good job on her defensively. Tuesday we have Ballard at home and everyone is very excited about that. The first game of the season. We are supposed to play Manual at home friday, but since our football team is in the semi-finals of the state tournament it may be postponed. A big shout out to our football team. They are playing great and deserve a lot of credit.  Good Luck Friday guys. thats it for now.... holla!

i am so ready for the season to start. tomorrow we have our first scrimmage of the season. its against anderson county at scott county as part of the scott county hoopfest. I am very excited. its a chance to see where we are at as a team and what aspects we need to improve on. we still havent had a full practice where everyone is available but we will soon. if we keep working hard and everyone knows their roles, we will be a force to be reckoned with in the 6th region. I am kinda stressed right now with ball, school, and work. College is no joke. I am scared already! it's so much you have to do its crazy! but i kno i have to stay focused and I'll be okay. thats it for now. Holla!
